Identify the application
Toyota model families and your original read
Toyota nameplates and engine sizes do not establish a compatible file. Hybrid systems and imported specifications require explicit identification and assessment.
What matters for a Toyota file request
State the original sales market and engine specification for imported vehicles.
Distinguish combustion-engine requests from hybrid-system or electric-drive enquiries.
For pickups and 4x4s, explain towing, payload, fuel supply and typical operating conditions.
Prepare these details before uploading
- Provide generation, exact engine, original output, fuel and transmission.
- Attach ECU identification and the read available from your supported tool.
- Document aftermarket parts and any earlier calibration or controller replacement.
Use the original-file checklist for the complete upload workflow.
Choose the service after confirming compatibility
Stage 1 1 credit
A request based on the vehicle’s standard hardware. Describe its condition and software before the file is prepared.
Stage 2 2 credits
A request matched to declared hardware modifications. Supply the full setup and agree the requirements first.
Compatible options are included with a stage file. Standalone options cost 0.5 credit each. Output gains and exact support depend on the specific vehicle; there is no fixed increase promised for a model name.
Questions before you upload
Does Toyota hybrid catalogue presence mean hybrid tuning is available?
No. Identify the full powertrain and explain the controller work you want assessed. A model listing is not a promise of changes to the electric motor, battery management or hybrid operating strategy.
What should I include for a Hilux or Land Cruiser request?
Supply the exact engine, transmission, original market and original read. Add normal payload, towing, fuel availability and any fitted hardware. Those details describe the working vehicle more clearly than a generic tuning-stage request.
