FSCYour vehicle. Our online file workflow.

Remote tuning with a clear division of work.

Our remote tuning service handles the file preparation online while the vehicle stays with your workshop. You identify and read the vehicle, send the file and specification, then receive the completed work through the portal. You remain responsible for the physical programming and vehicle checks. This workflow lets a workshop use a file service without sending the vehicle to our address in Belgium.

What happens remotely, and what happens beside the vehicle

The online part is the transfer of information, preparation of the file and discussion of the result. The local part includes inspecting the vehicle, selecting the supported programming protocol, maintaining the required workshop setup and carrying out the read and write. A clear handover between those parts is more useful than treating remote tuning as one button.

A remote file order does not itself provide a tool, unlock a control unit or create a live connection to the car. Tell us which equipment and access method you have before an unfamiliar job. Exact support depends on the control unit, software, tool configuration and requested work.

Give the request the context you would explain in person

Alongside the read, describe the vehicle as it is now. Record the engine and transmission, installed hardware, fuel to be used and the customer's priorities. If the car has been tuned before or has recently received a software update, include that history. A short factual brief is more useful than a target number without supporting details.

For example, a request can say that the customer wants smoother part-throttle response, uses a specified fuel grade and has listed the current intake and cooling hardware. That gives the discussion a concrete basis. If you already have diagnostic observations, separate those from the requested calibration change so a pre-existing concern is not mistaken for a tuning outcome.

Use asynchronous communication deliberately

Working across countries means the workshop and file preparer may be following different working days. The dashboard records the current submission status, and emails link directly to the relevant job. Check the portal for the actual state of a request rather than assuming an email arrival establishes that the vehicle is ready to collect.

We manually prepare files. If a customer has a fixed collection time, confirm timing with us before booking the work. When asking a question, include the submission reference and the next decision you need to make. That makes the answer easier to act on even when you are not online at the same moment.

Close the loop with useful feedback

After delivery, read the completion notes and verify the file belongs to the intended submission before programming. Record which version was written. If further review is needed, describe the conditions in which the issue occurs and attach relevant diagnostic information or agreed logs through the support process.

Avoid changing several things between feedback rounds without recording them. A revised file, different fuel and new hardware all change the context of the next observation. Keeping those changes visible gives a remote conversation the same useful continuity as a well-kept workshop job card.

Questions before you upload

Can I use the remote tuning service from the UK?

The file workflow is online and can be used by UK workshops. Confirm your particular vehicle, control unit, tool and service request before committing the workshop appointment.

Does remote tuning mean someone controls my laptop?

Our standard service is file preparation and delivery through the customer portal. It does not include a remote desktop programming session.

Can a vehicle owner use this without a programming tool?

A compatible tool and the ability to follow the appropriate read, write and checking procedures are needed at the vehicle. If you do not have that setup, work with a suitably equipped workshop.
