Chiptuning file service, from original read to finished file.

FileService Chiptuning is an online chiptuning file service for workshops that read and write vehicle control units. You supply the original file, vehicle information and tuning request. We manually prepare the requested file and deliver it through your account. The workshop keeps the vehicle, performs the programming and checks the result; the portal keeps the file request, credit transaction and support conversation together.

What you are buying

A file service provides the calibration work between reading a vehicle and writing the finished file. It suits a workshop that already has an appropriate programming tool and wants a dedicated place to submit jobs. Buying credits does not install software in a vehicle: you still need to identify the control unit, obtain a suitable read and follow your tool's supported programming procedure.

Each request starts with your information. A model badge alone is not a complete specification. Tell us the engine, gearbox, ECU identification, reading tool and any hardware changes, then describe what the customer wants to change. If compatibility is uncertain, contact us before placing the job so the missing detail can be resolved first.

One practical workflow for every submission

Create an account, choose credits and submit a file through the upload wizard. The wizard brings vehicle details, service selection and your original upload into one request. You can see the credit cost before submission; the selected service is charged to your account when the file is submitted.

The dashboard shows the job as pending, in progress or completed. When the file is ready, the completed submission contains the download and any customer-facing completion notes. Submission and completion emails link back to the relevant job, making it easier to continue from a phone or a different workshop computer.

Choose the service around the actual vehicle

Stage 1 costs 1 credit. Stage 2 costs 2 credits. Compatible additional options selected with either stage are included at no additional credits; standalone options cost 0.5 credit each. The current pricing page explains the available services and credit packages. The purchase cost depends on the package you purchase.

Price and technical availability are separate questions. An option being listed does not mean it is available on every ECU. A Stage 2 request also needs the actual installed hardware specification. Use the notes to explain the configuration, rather than assuming the service name supplies the missing details.

  • Original read and ECU identification from the vehicle being worked on.
  • Reading tool, protocol and connection method.
  • Current hardware, fuel and any previous tuning history.
  • A clear request and any relevant diagnostic observations.

Keep follow-up attached to the work

If you need to discuss a delivered file, open a support ticket and reference the submission. Explain what happened, identify the file version used and attach relevant evidence. Both customer and administrator receive notifications when a ticket or reply is created. That makes a specific, traceable conversation possible without spreading the job across unrelated messages.

The service is operated by Xtra-Facilities BV in Genk, Belgium. Workshops can work with us online across borders, including from the UK. File preparation is manual, so confirm timing for a time-sensitive appointment before promising a collection time to your customer.

Questions before you upload

Is fileservice chiptuning the same as an instant tuning-file download?

Our service uses a submitted original file and a specific request. Files are manually prepared and released through the dashboard when completed. Buying credits does not immediately produce a downloadable tune.

Do you install the tuning file remotely?

The workshop reads and writes the vehicle with its own supported equipment. We prepare and deliver the file online. A file-service order does not include a remote desktop session or physical programming equipment.

How can I check support for my next job?

Send the vehicle specification, ECU hardware and software identification, reading tool and requested service through the contact page or your support account. Confirm the exact combination before booking an unfamiliar application.
