Describe the use, not just the stage number
Stage 1 is a service category, not a fixed power increase. Two customers with the same model may have different expectations for throttle response, daily driving or the way the vehicle delivers its performance. Explain those priorities alongside the engine, transmission and fuel information so the request has a useful brief.
Standard hardware does not mean undocumented hardware. Tell us if the vehicle has replacement components, a previous tune or any change that may be relevant. If you are unsure whether a modification makes the job a Stage 2 request, send the specification before selecting a service rather than choosing only by price.
Prepare the vehicle information before ordering
Start with the original read and ECU identification from the vehicle. Include the tool and read method so the exported file can be understood in context. Record the software version, existing tuning history and any diagnostic concerns separately from the desired changes.
A Stage 1 file request is not a diagnosis of an unexplained running problem. If the customer arrives with a hesitation, warning light or transmission concern, investigate and record that condition first. Otherwise the workshop has no clear baseline against which to discuss the result after programming.
- Confirm the current engine, gearbox and installed hardware.
- Supply the original read with the ECU identification report.
- State the fuel that will actually be used and the driving priorities.
- List only the compatible additional options the customer requests.
What the 1-credit price includes
The Stage 1 request uses 1 credit. Available, compatible additional options selected with that stage add no credits. An option being included in the price does not mean it should be selected by default: keep the order aligned with the customer's requirements and the vehicle's specification.
Credits are bought through the current online packages, so the purchase cost of a credit depends on that purchase. The pricing page and checkout show the actual offer. Your upload selection shows the service cost before the request is submitted and charged to the account.
Delivery is the start of the final checks
Track the submission through the file dashboard. Once completed, download the prepared file from that job and read its notes before programming. Keep a record of the original read and the delivered version, then perform the checks appropriate to the vehicle and tool procedure.
If the result needs discussion, a useful support message identifies the submission, describes the conditions and distinguishes an observed issue from a new preference. Add relevant diagnostic evidence or requested logs. That gives the review a concrete starting point without relying on a broad description such as more power needed.
Questions before you upload
How many credits does a Stage 1 tuning file cost?
Stage 1 costs 1 credit. Compatible additional options selected with the same stage request are included at no extra credits.
How much power will Stage 1 add?
There is no universal figure. The engine, software, hardware condition, fuel and requested result all affect what can be proposed. Ask about the specific vehicle rather than relying on a percentage for every model.
Can I select every included option?
Select the options your customer actually needs. Availability and suitability must be checked for the exact ECU and vehicle; included pricing is not confirmation that every catalogue option applies.
