Identify the application
Smart model families and your original read
This page does not promise electric Smart tuning. The powertrain, controller and read capability must be checked for each enquiry before a paid service.
What matters for a Smart file request
State generation and propulsion type explicitly instead of relying on the Smart name.
Describe urban response and current transmission behaviour as separate observations in the brief.
Keep existing starting, shifting or running problems distinct from a performance request.
Prepare these details before uploading
- Provide the exact model, year, engine where fitted and transmission specification.
- Attach the original ECU read and controller identification available from the tool.
- Record previous tuning, diagnostic findings and the practical change the customer wants.
Use the original-file checklist for the complete upload workflow.
Choose the service after confirming compatibility
Stage 1 1 credit
A request based on the vehicle’s standard hardware. Describe its condition and software before the file is prepared.
Stage 2 2 credits
A request matched to declared hardware modifications. Supply the full setup and agree the requirements first.
Compatible options are included with a stage file. Standalone options cost 0.5 credit each. Output gains and exact support depend on the specific vehicle; there is no fixed increase promised for a model name.
Questions before you upload
Does a Smart catalogue entry confirm tuning for an electric model?
No. Identify the vehicle's complete propulsion system and the specific controller work requested. A brand listing or familiar name does not establish support for electric drive, battery management or a conventional engine-file service.
Can an engine tuning file solve a Smart shifting problem?
Describe and diagnose the existing behaviour first. Provide transmission details and relevant findings, and distinguish an engine calibration request from gearbox or mechanical work. File tuning should not be assumed to repair an unidentified fault.
