Identify the application
MG model families and your original read
MG catalogue presence is not a promise of electric-drive or hybrid-system tuning. Each powertrain and controller must be identified and assessed individually.
What matters for a MG file request
State combustion, hybrid or electric powertrain explicitly rather than leaving the team to infer it.
For older vehicles, record engine and controller replacements or previous conversions.
Explain the requested behaviour and confirm feasibility before purchasing uncertain work.
Prepare these details before uploading
- Supply the original market, generation, engine where fitted and transmission.
- Provide controller identification and the original read available from your tool.
- Document installed parts, software history and the precise scope of the enquiry.
Use the original-file checklist for the complete upload workflow.
Choose the service after confirming compatibility
Stage 1 1 credit
A request based on the vehicle’s standard hardware. Describe its condition and software before the file is prepared.
Stage 2 2 credits
A request matched to declared hardware modifications. Supply the full setup and agree the requirements first.
Compatible options are included with a stage file. Standalone options cost 0.5 credit each. Output gains and exact support depend on the specific vehicle; there is no fixed increase promised for a model name.
Questions before you upload
Does an MG model listing mean an electric version can be tuned?
No. A model name can describe more than one powertrain or market specification. State the exact vehicle and controller work requested; battery, electric-drive and hybrid-system support must not be inferred from a catalogue entry.
What should I send before buying an uncertain MG service?
Provide the model year, market, complete powertrain, controller identification and the read your tool can obtain. Explain the desired change through support first so the enquiry can be assessed before you select a paid service.
