FSCLotus / Workshop file guide

Lotus tuning files. Start with the exact vehicle.

A Lotus enquiry should describe the complete installed setup and how the owner uses it. A road-driven Elise and a modified Exige project can have very different histories and priorities. Provide the original controller identification and available read, especially when the engine or management system no longer matches the car's original specification.

Lotus model examples do not guarantee coverage of engine conversions or aftermarket controllers. Electric models require separate confirmation and are not implied here.

What matters for a Lotus file request

01

Separate current engine and controller configuration from the specification associated with the chassis name.

02

Describe sustained track operation, road drivability and any relevant thermal observations.

03

For modified induction or fuelling, document the actual components rather than only naming a tuning stage.

Prepare these details before uploading

  • Provide the full derivative, generation, engine, transmission and fuel.
  • Attach the original read, ECU identification and known replacement-controller history.
  • Include fitted hardware and useful diagnostic or logging information from the current setup.

Use the original-file checklist for the complete upload workflow.

Choose the service after confirming compatibility

Compatible options are included with a stage file. Standalone options cost 0.5 credit each. Output gains and exact support depend on the specific vehicle; there is no fixed increase promised for a model name.

Questions before you upload

Can I submit a Lotus that uses aftermarket engine management?

Ask about the installed controller and available file format first. Describe the engine and conversion clearly. A Lotus catalogue listing does not establish support for an aftermarket ECU or make the original chassis specification a suitable file match.

What information helps with a track-used Lotus enquiry?

State the fuel, installed parts, normal session conditions and any relevant logs or diagnostic observations. Explain the road-driving requirements too if the vehicle serves both roles, rather than relying on a single peak-output target.
