Identify the application
Land Rover model families and your original read
Range Rover and Defender names span different specifications. Each controller and setup needs assessment; catalogue presence does not promise every derivative.
What matters for a Land Rover file request
For towing or expedition use, document added equipment and normal operating loads.
Identify the generation and full powertrain rather than relying on a reused nameplate.
Describe existing faults before asking for additional performance or response changes.
Prepare these details before uploading
- Record model year, exact engine, transmission and any hybrid configuration.
- Attach the original read, ECU software details and reading-tool identification.
- Include hardware changes, previous tuning and the customer's intended use.
Use the original-file checklist for the complete upload workflow.
Choose the service after confirming compatibility
Stage 1 1 credit
A request based on the vehicle’s standard hardware. Describe its condition and software before the file is prepared.
Stage 2 2 credits
A request matched to declared hardware modifications. Supply the full setup and agree the requirements first.
Compatible options are included with a stage file. Standalone options cost 0.5 credit each. Output gains and exact support depend on the specific vehicle; there is no fixed increase promised for a model name.
Questions before you upload
What matters for a Land Rover used on expeditions?
Explain the normal fuel supply, added weight, towing and operating conditions, together with the engine and transmission. A peak-output request alone does not describe the practical requirements of that use.
Can I select a file by the Range Rover model name?
Use the model name to identify the enquiry, then provide the exact generation, powertrain and original ECU read. Closely related names do not establish matching software or support for the same requested options.
