FSCJaguar / Workshop file guide

Jaguar tuning files. Start with the exact vehicle.

Jaguar workshop requests can concern an executive saloon, a family SUV or a sports car with very different priorities. Explain whether the customer is seeking everyday response or work for a documented performance setup. The original ECU read, exact derivative and fuel specification give the request a useful starting point.

Jaguar model names do not establish one shared engine or software. Electric-vehicle enquiries need separate confirmation and are not implied by this guide.

What matters for a Jaguar file request

01

Differentiate comfort-led road use from a sports-car request with aftermarket hardware.

02

Record the exact engine and original output rather than using body style as the specification.

03

Include fuel availability and known previous tuning, especially on imported or used performance cars.

Prepare these details before uploading

  • Provide model year, full derivative, engine and transmission details.
  • Attach the original ECU file, software identification and read method.
  • List modifications and report diagnostic findings relevant to the requested change.

Use the original-file checklist for the complete upload workflow.

Choose the service after confirming compatibility

Compatible options are included with a stage file. Standalone options cost 0.5 credit each. Output gains and exact support depend on the specific vehicle; there is no fixed increase promised for a model name.

Questions before you upload

Can I submit a Jaguar F-TYPE performance enquiry?

Provide the full derivative, original ECU read, fuel grade and any installed hardware. State the intended use and earlier calibration history so the request can be assessed for that car rather than a generic F-TYPE specification.

Should I provide Jaguar gearbox information for an engine request?

Yes, include the fitted transmission as part of the vehicle specification. If you also want controller work on the gearbox, state that explicitly and ask which identification or file is needed for its assessment.
