Identify the application
Honda model families and your original read
A Type R badge, shared displacement or model name does not establish ECU coverage. Original software and the installed configuration decide the assessment.
What matters for a Honda file request
Identify the original market and exact engine when working on an imported Honda.
For modified performance cars, distinguish current hardware from planned future upgrades.
State whether the request concerns a combustion engine or a hybrid-related controller.
Prepare these details before uploading
- Record generation, engine designation, fuel, transmission and complete derivative.
- Attach the original read and tool-reported ECU identification.
- Document existing tuning, installed parts and relevant diagnostic results.
Use the original-file checklist for the complete upload workflow.
Choose the service after confirming compatibility
Stage 1 1 credit
A request based on the vehicle’s standard hardware. Describe its condition and software before the file is prepared.
Stage 2 2 credits
A request matched to declared hardware modifications. Supply the full setup and agree the requirements first.
Compatible options are included with a stage file. Standalone options cost 0.5 credit each. Output gains and exact support depend on the specific vehicle; there is no fixed increase promised for a model name.
Questions before you upload
Can I request a file for a Honda with an engine conversion?
Explain the conversion before selecting a service. Identify the installed engine, ECU, wiring or controller changes relevant to the job and the file read from that setup. The original chassis model is not a complete specification after a conversion.
What matters for an imported Honda Civic?
Supply the market of origin, exact engine, ECU identification, available fuel and known modifications. Do not assume that a same-year Civic sold locally has the same controller or uses an interchangeable tuning file.
