Identify the application
Genesis model families and your original read
A Genesis model name does not establish support for every powertrain or electric system. Confirm the exact vehicle identity and controller before purchasing.
What matters for a Genesis file request
Distinguish the actual Genesis marque from an earlier model name used on a differently documented vehicle.
Identify the complete powertrain and avoid inferring combustion-engine support for an electric derivative.
For imported vehicles, record the original market and fuel available in the country of use.
Prepare these details before uploading
- Supply full derivative, engine where fitted, transmission, year and original output.
- Attach the original read and exact controller identification from your tool.
- Describe fitted parts, software updates and the owner's requested driving behaviour.
Use the original-file checklist for the complete upload workflow.
Choose the service after confirming compatibility
Stage 1 1 credit
A request based on the vehicle’s standard hardware. Describe its condition and software before the file is prepared.
Stage 2 2 credits
A request matched to declared hardware modifications. Supply the full setup and agree the requirements first.
Compatible options are included with a stage file. Standalone options cost 0.5 credit each. Output gains and exact support depend on the specific vehicle; there is no fixed increase promised for a model name.
Questions before you upload
What if the vehicle documents list Hyundai but the model is called Genesis?
Use the documented make and complete model designation, then add the original market and year. Do not force the enquiry into a newer brand entry when the controller and vehicle identity have not been checked.
Can I assume every GV70 enquiry concerns a combustion engine?
No. State the complete powertrain and identify the controller work you want assessed. A familiar model name does not establish an engine-file service or support for electric drive and battery-management changes.
