Identify the application
Ford model families and your original read
European and overseas Ford models must be identified individually. The nameplate alone does not establish the engine, controller or available file service.
What matters for a Ford file request
Distinguish a performance-car enquiry from pickup, fleet and commercial-van work.
Record local fuel availability and market specification for imported vehicles.
For loaded vehicles, explain towing, payload and prolonged operating conditions.
Prepare these details before uploading
- Record the engine, transmission, build year and original power specification.
- Include the read tool, ECU software identification and current calibration history.
- For modified cars, list fitted components rather than only writing 'Stage 2'.
Use the original-file checklist for the complete upload workflow.
Choose the service after confirming compatibility
Stage 1 1 credit
A request based on the vehicle’s standard hardware. Describe its condition and software before the file is prepared.
Stage 2 2 credits
A request matched to declared hardware modifications. Supply the full setup and agree the requirements first.
Compatible options are included with a stage file. Standalone options cost 0.5 credit each. Output gains and exact support depend on the specific vehicle; there is no fixed increase promised for a model name.
Questions before you upload
Do you treat a Ford Transit request like a Focus request?
The submission process is shared, but the job context is different. State the Transit's work pattern, typical load, engine and transmission. This gives the team information a passenger-car model description would leave out.
What matters for an imported Ford?
Provide the original market, exact engine specification, ECU identification and the fuel available where it will be driven. Do not select a local model equivalent unless the actual vehicle identification confirms it.
