Identify the application
CUPRA model families and your original read
CUPRA catalogue presence is not a promise of hybrid-system or electric-vehicle tuning. Ask about the specific controller and requested work before purchasing.
What matters for a CUPRA file request
State the full powertrain type and do not treat a hybrid as a combustion-only equivalent.
Explain installed hardware and fuel requirements when enquiring about Stage 2.
Keep any engine, gearbox or hybrid-system request clearly identified rather than combining them implicitly.
Prepare these details before uploading
- Include the precise derivative, build year, original output and transmission.
- Attach ECU identification, read method and the file from the actual vehicle.
- Mention dealer software changes or previous tuning that may affect identification.
Use the original-file checklist for the complete upload workflow.
Choose the service after confirming compatibility
Stage 1 1 credit
A request based on the vehicle’s standard hardware. Describe its condition and software before the file is prepared.
Stage 2 2 credits
A request matched to declared hardware modifications. Supply the full setup and agree the requirements first.
Compatible options are included with a stage file. Standalone options cost 0.5 credit each. Output gains and exact support depend on the specific vehicle; there is no fixed increase promised for a model name.
Questions before you upload
Does a CUPRA hybrid use the same tuning request as a petrol-only car?
Do not assume the scope is the same. Identify the complete powertrain and specify which controller or behaviour you want assessed. A combustion-engine file request does not imply support for the electric drive or hybrid control system.
Can I order a generic Formentor Stage 2 file?
Provide the exact engine, ECU software, fuel and installed parts. Stage 2 describes a type of request; it does not replace a hardware specification or establish that every Formentor version supports the same work.
