FSCChrysler / Workshop file guide

Chrysler tuning files. Start with the exact vehicle.

Chrysler enquiries often involve vehicles with different original markets or a long service history. Establish what engine, controller and software are actually fitted before selecting a file service. Describe the customer's use and any previous modifications so the assessment is tied to the current car rather than an assumed original specification.

Chrysler nameplates do not establish support for every overseas derivative or hybrid system. Controller replacements and software history require explicit identification.

What matters for a Chrysler file request

01

Document import history and the precise engine instead of relying on a market-specific model name.

02

For older vehicles, establish whether controllers or engines have been replaced.

03

Explain family, long-distance or performance use and identify hybrid configurations where applicable.

Prepare these details before uploading

  • Supply the generation, year, engine, transmission and available fuel.
  • Attach original-file identification and the read available from the vehicle.
  • Describe known earlier tuning, replacement components and unresolved diagnostic issues.

Use the original-file checklist for the complete upload workflow.

Choose the service after confirming compatibility

Compatible options are included with a stage file. Standalone options cost 0.5 credit each. Output gains and exact support depend on the specific vehicle; there is no fixed increase promised for a model name.

Questions before you upload

What if a Chrysler has had a replacement ECU?

State the replacement and provide the identification from the controller currently installed. Include available history and the file you can read from it. The vehicle's original model specification alone may no longer describe the software in use.

Can I request a file for an imported Chrysler 300?

Provide the exact engine, original market, transmission, available fuel and original read. Note earlier tuning or hardware changes. Do not select a local equivalent solely because the model name looks the same.
