A BMW badge or matching engine size does not establish file compatibility. ECU software, access method and the vehicle setup must be checked.
What matters for a BMW file request
Describe how the customer uses the car: commuting, towing or a documented performance build.
Separate engine calibration requests from any gearbox work and identify both controllers when relevant.
List intake, cooling, exhaust and turbo changes individually for a Stage 2 enquiry.
Prepare these details before uploading
- Record the model generation, engine variant, production year and transmission.
- Attach the tool identification, original read and any existing tuning history.
- Include the fuel grade and relevant diagnostic findings before requesting more torque.

Choose the service after confirming compatibility
Stage 1 1 credit
A request based on the vehicle’s standard hardware. Describe its condition and software before the file is prepared.
Stage 2 2 credits
A request matched to declared hardware modifications. Supply the full setup and agree the requirements first.
Compatible options are included with a stage file. Standalone options cost 0.5 credit each. Output gains and exact support depend on the specific vehicle; there is no fixed increase promised for a model name.
Questions before you upload
Can I reuse a BMW tuning file on another car with the same badge?
Do not use the badge as a file match. Submit each vehicle's original read and identification. Model year, software updates, drivetrain and installed hardware can change what is appropriate for that particular car.
What should I include with a modified BMW request?
Provide a complete hardware list, fuel specification, previous calibration history and the intended use. If you have diagnostic results or useful logs, include them in the submission so the team can assess the request with its context.
