Bentley tuning files. Start with the exact vehicle.

A Bentley file enquiry should explain the owner's expectations for refinement as clearly as any performance objective. A Continental touring car, Flying Spur or Bentayga may be used in very different ways. Provide the exact engine, current software and installed hardware so the assessment starts with the individual vehicle and its intended role.

A Bentley model or edition name is not proof of a compatible file. Hybrid-system changes and individual options need explicit confirmation.

What matters for a Bentley file request

Record the actual engine and complete derivative instead of relying on an edition badge.

Identify hybrid configurations explicitly and keep engine requests separate from other powertrain systems.

Prepare these details before uploading

  • Supply the generation, year, original output, engine and transmission.
  • Attach the original read with controller identification and any known software-update history.
  • State the regularly available fuel and list changes to the vehicle's factory hardware.

Choose the service after confirming compatibility

Stage 1 1 credit

A request based on the vehicle’s standard hardware. Describe its condition and software before the file is prepared.

Stage 2 2 credits

A request matched to declared hardware modifications. Supply the full setup and agree the requirements first.

Compatible options are included with a stage file. Standalone options cost 0.5 credit each. Output gains and exact support depend on the specific vehicle; there is no fixed increase promised for a model name.

Questions before you upload

Can a Bentley request prioritise refinement over a peak output number?

Describe that priority directly, including the driving situations the owner wants addressed. The team can assess the brief alongside the original file and exact setup; a broad model description cannot guarantee a particular driving result.

Does a Bentley hybrid use the same enquiry as a non-hybrid version?

Identify the full powertrain and the specific controller work requested. An engine-file service does not imply support for electric drive, battery management or hybrid control functions, even when the model name is shared.
